These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Netlika website (netlika.org), as well as to our services in the restaurant and events sectors. By using this website, submitting an enquiry, making a booking or registering, you agree to these terms.
They operate alongside your rights under New Zealand law and do not limit them.

Netlika is a restaurant in Napier offering dining and a programme of occasional events. The information on this website is provided to help you plan your visit.
Information on the website
We endeavour to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date; however, it is provided for general information purposes only and is subject to change without notice. Menus, dishes, drinks, events and prices are provided as examples and may vary.
Information on menus and prices
Our menu changes with the seasons, so the specific dishes and prices listed on this website are indicative. Prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars (NZD). The prices and availability confirmed at the time of your visit or booking apply.
Table enquiries and bookings
Table enquiries made via this website or by telephone are provisional and are subject to confirmation and availability. If you have made a booking, please let us know as soon as possible if your plans change.
Event information and registration
Event details are provided in good faith and are subject to change. Submitting an event registration form constitutes a request to attend; it does not automatically confirm your place. Confirmation is subject to availability, remaining capacity and confirmation from the restaurant, and we will contact you to confirm.
Event capacity
Capacity for some events is limited. If an event is already fully booked, we will let you know and, where possible, offer an alternative date or a place on the waiting list.
Paid and free events, and participation fees
Our programme includes free evenings where you can order dishes from the regular menu, set-price dinners, paid tasting events and events with a small participation fee. Where a participation fee is charged, it covers the costs of running and organising the event — for example, reserved seating, a welcome drink or a light snack. Such a fee is not a stake, bet or entry fee for a game of chance, and no cash prizes are awarded.
Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
If you need to cancel or change your booking or registration, please contact us as soon as possible. Should it be necessary to reschedule or cancel the event, we will notify registered guests, and if payment has already been made, we will arrange a refund or credit note as appropriate. All refund terms will be explained at the time of booking and will be applied in accordance with your rights under New Zealand consumer protection legislation.
Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes your rights under New Zealand consumer protection legislation, in particular the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, where applicable. These terms and conditions should be read in light of those rights.
Guest obligations and conduct
We aim to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience at Netlika. We ask guests to treat our staff and other guests with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask a guest to leave the premises in the event of inappropriate or disruptive behaviour, in accordance with our obligations as a licensed establishment.
Information on food, drinks and allergens
We take great care in preparing our dishes and are happy to discuss ingredients and dietary requirements. However, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free of a specific allergen, and we do not hold official allergen certificates. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when you book and again upon arrival.
Alcohol
Netlika is a licensed premises. We serve alcohol responsibly and in accordance with New Zealand law, and may refuse service where appropriate, including to those who cannot provide valid proof of age or appear to be under the influence of alcohol.
Photography at events
Photography or video recording may occasionally take place during events for our own promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform a member of our team on the night, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, images, branding and design, is owned by Netlika or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our consent.
Privacy
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 2020.
Website availability
We aim to ensure this website is always available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The site may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.

Explanation of the thematic concept
The identity of Netlika as an Art Deco-inspired supper club is a contemporary restaurant concept. We do not claim that the Netlika establishment itself dates from the Art Deco period, that the building has the status of a cultural heritage site, or that it is subject to any form of historical protection.
About our poker nights
Netlika is, first and foremost, a restaurant. Social poker evenings are occasional events forming part of the restaurant’s wider programme. This website does not provide online poker or real-money gambling services, and Netlika does not operate as a casino or a specialised gambling establishment. We do not claim to hold any gambling licence, nor do we offer games for cash, stakes, bets or cash prizes.
Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
